The Salthouse Hotel staff have all completed our in house training in combatting the current issues we currently face everyday.  As well as following government guidelines on Social Distancing, Hand washing and monitoring staff wellness we have created the following commitment to our guests.

 

  ENHANCED CLEANING

At The Salthouse we already pride ourselves on our attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness, our staff follow a strict cleaning schedule, which has now been further enhanced to ensure cleaning routines, and high touch areas are being constantly wiped down.  Using our Eco Friendly anti-bacterial Winterhalter Range our whole team in each department has established new enhanced cleaning lists, which are carried out throughout the day.  There will also be hand-sanitising stations located throughout the building

  SOCIAL & PHYSICALLY DISTANCING

The Salthouse already offered bright air spaces which allow our customers relaxed and comfortable surroundings. We have made small changes to our spaces in line with current restrictions and regulations.

  REVISED F&B OFFERINGS

We have had to make some changes to our F&B offerings but we still continue to offer high standard options throughout all our services.  Bookings for meals are advisable, table service will be offered throughout the hotel. 

  TECHNOLOGY

We are constantly looking at ways we can enhance the customer journey and in line with our eco ethos we have developed some new ways to keep in touch with us and enjoy your journey while you are here with us at The Salthouse.  Here are just some of the things we have implemented:

• Menu’s & Guest Information can be viewed through our QR codes which are located throughout the building

• Key cards to your room can be sent to your phone on arrival at the hotel

• Pre arrival check in will be emailed to you prior to arrival

• Keep in touch with us, join our mailing list for all up to date offers and news

  GUEST JOURNEY

We have carefully mapped out the customer journey in each of our departments; we have made adjustments to allow for a flow system and to aid in social distancing some areas of the bar & restaurant have been spaced out.  As our guests arrive, they will be greeted at the door and directed or guided to the department they are visiting. Should you be in anyway un-happy with any area or service within the Salthouse hotel please let a member of staff aware. 

  STAFF JOURNEY

We have mapped out our staff’s journey throughout the building and within their own department.  All staff will currently have their temperature taken and recorded before they start their shift.

All our staff have undertaken The Salthouse specific Training Plan which shows them best practices and policies, this is constantly being reviewed updated and within the hotel we have Health & Safety Ambassadors who will be happy to discuss procedures put in place to safeguard not just our guests but our staff.
